Identity is the most powerful force of human nature. The way we see ourselves not only determines how we think, feel, and act, but it also connects us to the past, anchors us in the present, and gives us a clear point of reference to measure growth and progress. It's a fact of being who we are, and it doesn't change with time, place, opinion, emotion, or lived experience.
We have a unique lineage with a specific social, economic, political, and spiritual justice claim, unlike any other group. Ambiguous terms like minority or people of color rob us of our rich history and disconnect us from our collective identity.
Book of ®(ad·os) is the origin story of American Descendants of Slavery. American Descendants of Slavery are people who had family enslaved in the United States between 1776 and 1865. Unlike Negro or Black by definition, American Descendants of Slavery connects us to our great country, culture and profound heritage.
Beyond our numerous inventions, collective achievements, many innovations, individual accomplishments, athleticism, musicality, or natural beauty as a people, this book is a revelation of who we be as it relates to race, ethnicity, nationality, genealogy, cosmology, and the nature of God. It's kinda like 2Pac's 'Code of T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E' in the sense that the hate you give little infants fucks everybody. But it's more like Robert Greene's '48 Laws' in the classic sense that power is the ability to define yourself in such a way that your definition becomes the meaning in your circle of influence, like gender-neutral and gender-inclusive pronouns.
American Descendants of Slavery is a paradigm shift away from minimizing who we are by race towards defining our tribe by the depth and breadth of our lineage. Race is a lie; lineage is the truth. Race is man made to cause confusion. It's not scientific, anthropologic, or sound doctrine. Race is bigotry disguised as biology. Lineage tells us who we are, who we are not, and the significance of our contributions to the world.
Technology is driving our country into its fourth industrial revolution. Between artificial intelligence and augmented reality, it's easy to get lost in the blockchain and caught up in the Internet of Things. But we must always remember and never forget that America's first industrial revolution was human. There would be no United States and no Founding Fathers of the United States like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Samuel Adams, Richard Henry Lee, James Madison, or Patrick Henry without the Foundational Mothers and Fathers who built the country. They were the economic engine that made America great for colonizers, Ellis Islanders, and new immigrants. Even if you came chasing a dream and got a raw deal, that’s not how we got here.
Our story starts on the first day the first man and the first woman were broken into submission, body, mind, and spirit. A new tribe was born like a baby taking its first breath. Baptized by fire and purified in the crucible of the North American wilderness for 246 years. Stripped of many customs, pagan traditions, religions and false gods to be reformed as the body of Christ. It culminated in the United States during the Great Gathering of Scattered Men. But it begins to come forth in Genesis 11 KJV when humanity was one people. They had one speech one language, and lived in one central location.
They were scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians whose knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the known and unknown universe are evident in ancient artifacts, and relics. Theologians, Intellectuals, and scholars contemplate the reasons why. Still, the fact remains that God confounded their language so they could not understand each other’s speech, divided them into seventy tribes, and scattered those tribes around the world, across land and sea.
Each piece was set apart as part of the human genome puzzle. Separated by geography, the four elements, remote terrains, and harsh environments, they fell away from themselves in nature, form, and function, from human to man to mankind, into chaos, wickedness, and decay. The genetic diversity they lost through tribal isolation in Africa, then migrating from Africa through the African-Arabian Peninsula into Southeast Asia and Europe, has been restored to us in America.
Were not European, Asiatic, or African. We are a Trans-Atlantic D.N.A. mashup of Japhetic, Hamitic, and Semitic peoples. Americans by birth, descendants of slavery by lineage, which means we have blood equity in every brick. A false narrative of who we are will have us searching for ourselves in foreign lands or fictitious places, chasing red, black, and green pipe dreams our whole lives like we are not already home.
Ethnically, we are the most diverse population on the planet and the only people holistically native to the country. Everybody else is from somewhere else. That's how they get hyphenated nationalities like Syrian American, Irish, Anglo, Portuguese, German, Italian, Mexican, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Guatemalan, Haitian, Iranian, Jamaican, Syrian, and Ethiopian American. They have homelands and old countries. We come from the thirteen colonies—Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Created on plantations and breeding farms by the hand of God, through the capital sin of scattered men, as a testament to his power and presence.
You are more than you know, and our enemies know who you are. That's why so much time, energy, and multigenerational effort has been committed to disrupting our natural development. We have the God-given ability to create anything we can imagine. What we go through is not about a perpetual curse, a broken covenant, or not knowing how to win friends and influence people. It's about the massive amounts of failure force-fed into our lives by white identity extremist racial terrorists and complicit opportunists. Our fight is against flesh and bone just as much as any darkness or principality.
Christianity is our cultural spirituality. Our ancient ancestry is the genealogy of Cush, Mizraim, Phut, Canaan, Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, Aram, Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Meshech, Tiras, Tubal, Ashkenaz, Riphath, Togarmah, Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, Dodanim, Sheba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, Sabtechah, Deban, Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim, Pathrusim, Casluhim, Sidon, Heth, Uz, Hul, Gether, Mash, Salah, Eber, Peleg, Joktan, Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, Obal, Abimael, Sheba, Ophir, Havilah, Jacob, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Joseph, and Benjamin. The Gospel is about more than a king, a kingdom, and royalty. The Bible is our family tree.
Biblically, we are the full circle completion of the Table of Nations, and the white robes of revelation. The multitude of tribes we used to be have amalgamated into a renewed branch of the human species. Never prophesized in the Sumerian tablets, the Mahabharata, the Bhagavad Gita, the Tanakh, the Bardo Thodol, the Quran, the Codex Sinaiticus, the Old and New Testament, or predicted in any religious context. Our existence is unwritten scripture.
